Ana M. Schmidt has been engaged solely in the practice of family law since joining the Law Offices of William P. Glavin in 2018. Ana is committed to helping clients navigate through an often-confusing legal process to resolve each client’s very personal family law issues. She is compassionate and empathetic to the emotional and financial aspects involved with family law matters and seeks to achieve a solution that works best for each client’s unique set of circumstances. Prior to joining the firm, Ana had been a civil litigator for over twenty years, practicing in California and New York, handling insurance related matters such as bodily injury, premises liability and subrogation on both the plaintiff and defense side.

Ana obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Loyola Marymount University, then attended Pepperdine University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Ana was admitted to the California State Bar in 1998. She temporarily left the Beach Cities when she moved to the New York City area, and was admitted to practice law in New York State in 2003.
